I?d like to do it again but need a bit of in put of long exposure for capturing the constellations as our instructor never got to talk as a whole group on the practical side of things. Still I really enjoyed the night out and I?ll come back to the next one to gain some perspective on settings what to look for and so on. Thanks

I recently bought a Nikon 14-24 lens and was eager to test it out with some astrophotography. A few years ago, I visited Fingal Head to capture the Milky Way with the lighthouse in the frame. While I did manage to get some nice photos back then, I didn't have a wide enough lens to achieve the shots I envisioned. This time, I not only had the right equipment but also successfully created a panoramic image of the Milky Way core for the first time.
